Ernie’s Playing at the 4th Stage on April 8th — Tickets On Sale Now!

March 11, 2011
by

Good news! Ernie’s coming back to the NAC 4th Stage for a night of blues & black gospel — and this time he’s bringing a new, intimate trio setup with him.

For this one night, Ernie’s going to cover piano and vocals, with Don Cummings on B3 organ and Phil Bova on drums. Special guest vocalists will join the trio for the evening, along with the wonderful sax playing of Mike Webster — all the way from NYC.

The small, personal vibe of the 4th Stage is perfect for Ernie’s new trio format — the soulful grand piano and a big helping of that classic Hammond B3 sound make for a wonderful, one-night-only performance.

Capacity is just 180 seats, and both of Ernie’s 4th Stage shows last year sold out almost two weeks early. Don’t miss out!

Tickets are $30 and on sale now: online through ticketmaster ordirectly at the NAC box office.

The show is Friday, April 8th at 7:30pm.

See you there!

Merry Christmas everyone! The concerts were amazingly successful, we want to thank everyone for coming, and we’ll post a recap about the whole night once Christmas calms down a bit.

In the meantime, though, here’s a video (shot with my iPhone) of the whole group, with Andrea Karam soloing, doing Jesus, What a Wonderful Child. Have a wonderful Christmas!
